Retro Braided Up-Do Tutorial

How To Style :

Step 1 : Take your first section of hair. Clip up the top and divide the section into two parts. Braid and tie off with two mini elastics.
Step 2 : Twist each braid up and randomly pin to your head. I loop mine twice and then twist into a figure 8, then use 3 pins on each braid to secure.
Step 3 : The next section of hair will run along the edge of your crown in a horseshoe shape. Clip hair on top of your head.
Step 4 : Separate your back section into three and braid each. Loop and twist these sections and secure to your head as you did with the previous section. Use as many hair pins as you need.
Step 5 : The hard part is behind you! Let the top section down. Take a section at your crown and back comb evenly. Take your top and side sections and sweep them back, figure out how you want your hair lay on the sides, when your happy with how it looks loosely braid the top and side sections, roll and twist the top braid and secure. Make sure to keep the volume at your crown you created with the back combing.
Step 6 : Finish with some hair spray and use hair pins to hide any strays. I pulled some hair out and let it fall around my face for a safter look, but what you do with the front is up to you.

The Inside-Out Braid Tutorial

How To Style :

Step 1 : Gather a small section of hair on one side to begin the inside-out braid.
Step 2 : Continue weaving the sections of hair under the braid.
Step 3 : Continue braiding down the side of the head.
Step 4 : Braid until you reach the center of the back of the head.
Step 5 : Securely bobby pin the braid to the center.
Step 6 : Begin the inside-out braid on the opposite side.
Step 7 : Continue braiding until you meet the other braid at the back.
Step 8 : Securely pin the braids together.

The Top Knot Hairstyle

How To Style :

Step 1 : Blow-dry hair straight.
Step 2 : For a super-sleek look , use a flat iron to smooth out the ends.
Step 3 : Part your hair on the side. Leaving out a piece in the front, gather it into a high ponytail.
Step 4 : Pull the front piece back along your ear and around the ponytail. Pin it around the elastic.
Step 5 : Divide the pony into four sections. Twist one section, wrap it around the base, and pin.
Step 6 : Repeat the process with the remaining three sections until a bun forms.
Step 7 : If your hair is layered and spiky pieces pop up here and there, simply pin them into place.

Half Up-Do Hair Tutorial

How To Style :

Step 1 : Using a large-barrel curling iron, create loose curls around your head from your ears down.
Step 2 : Part your hair in the middle. Use your fingers to separate and loosen the curls.
Step 3 : Starting halfway down the part, begin spritzing your roots with hairspray. Continue to the crown.
Step 4 : Tease the sprayed hair with a fine-tooth comb, to create height and volume.
Step 5 : With a brush gently smooth the teased hair. Gather the sides up into a half ponytail.
Step 6 : Secure the sides with pins, then use your fingers to gently shape curls into place.
Step 7 : put some shine spray and voila...you are ready to go!

Crowned Braid With a Side Ponytail

How To Style :

Step 1 : Gather a small section of hair on one side of the head, and begin a french braid.
Step 2 : Continue braiding along the crown of the head.
Step 3 : Braid until you reach the other side of the head, just below the ear.
Step 4 : Secure the braid with a Fly Tie.
Step 5 : Begin french braid on the other side of the head.
Step 6 : Continue french braid until it meets the other braid, just behind the ear.
Step 7 : Begin a standard braid away from the head.
Step 8 : Braid until you reach the end of the hair.
Step 9 : Lift the bottom of the second braid and align it with the first braid.
Step 10 : Place the braid just over the bottom braid.
Step 11 : Secure the end of the braid with a bobby pin.
Step 12 : Neatly tuck the end of the braid under some hair, and secure with a bobby pin.

The Wrap Around Braids Hairstyle

How To Style :

Step 1 : Start with wavy hair parted down the middle. Make your hair as wavy or un-wavy as you'd like.
Step 2 : Pull your hair half-up leaving the front parts down for braiding.
Step 3 : Pin the hair back with some bobby pins.
Step 4 : French braid the front pieces of your hair "inside-out" style, or backwards.
Step 5 : Stop adding hair to the braid when you reach your ear, then finish braiding all the way down and then secure with a clear elastic.
Step 6 : Loosen the braids a good amount. Loosen them so that you've almost made the braid flat.
Step 7 : Wrap one of the braids around your hair and pin into place.
Step 8 : Wrap the other braid around your head in the other direction and over top the other braid. Tuck the end of the top braid under the bottom braid.
Step 9 : You will need to go back and tuck the bottom braid under the top one again. Use bobby pins if needed.
Step 10 : Once the braids are secured, you can take out the clear elastics holding the braids in. Done!

Neon Striped Nails Tutorial

How To Style :

Step 1 : Paint your base coat color.
Step 2 : Add one stripe on the left side of each nail with Neon Red.
Step 3 : Add another stripe on the right side of each nail with Neon Orange.
Step 4 : In the middle of your nail, add a Neon Yellow stripe.
Step 5 : Add a smaller turquoise stripe between the Neon Yellow and Neon Orange stripes. Clean up the mess around your nails with a q-tip or old makeup brush and some nail polish remover.
Step 6 : Add a shiny top coat. I used Essie's No Chips Ahead.

The Maiden Braids Hairstyle

How To Style :

Steps 1-2 : Braid two strands on each side of a center part.
Steps 3-5 : Wrap the braids around the crown of your head and pin in place with one pin each.
Step 6 : Arrange braids so that they cover the front of your head like a headband. Pin into place more securely until you feel comfortable.
Steps 7-8 : Pull the rest of the hair into a ponytail and pin it into a cute messy bun. Note: This step is optional.

How To Do :

Step 1 : Paint your nails a solid color and tape off a random section.
Step 2 : Paint the empty space with another color.
Step 3 : Peel off the tape and repeat on all your nails. It should look something like this.
Step 4 : Draw a black polish line in a different direction than the colored polishes.
Step 5 : Fill in the empty space on one side of the line.
Step 6 : And finish with a no-chip top coat!

How To Style The Big ‘Ole Bun

How To Style :

Step 1 : Using a flat brush, smooth all hair into a ponytail at the very top of your head, To get proper tension on the back of your head, you may need to tip your head down to extend your neck.
Step 2 - 3 : Backcomb the hair into a fountain-like shape, fanning the ponytail out and concentrating on the underside of all the strands. Once complete, your hair should look GIGANTIC like in photo 3.
Step 4 : Use your flat brush to smooth the surface of the hair out GENTLY, taking care not to disrupt any of the backcombing underneath.
Step 5 - 6 : Wrap the ‘loose ends’ of your backcombed ponytail around the bulk of the bun, smoothing and molding the shape as you work. Pin ends under/into the giant backcombed bun. The more pins, the more security.
Step 7 : Use your fingers to detail the shape, to achieve your desired shape.
Step 8 : Use a paste or wax of some kind to gently smooth back baby hairs and flyaways around your face and at your back hairline.
Step 9 : Reinforce the smoothness of the ponytail by spraying and smoothing the hair TOWARD the bun and lock in the bun with hairspray. and Admire your handiwork !

High Ponytail Hairstyle Tutorial

How To Style :

Step 1 : Start off with hair that has been air dried.
Step 2 : Part your hair down the middle, and then take your two thumbs and move them towards the back of your head, picking up the front portion of your hair to set aside for the poof. Twist the portion, clip it back and save it for later.
Step 3 : To add volume, take your teasing comb and with small portions of hair, back comb until the hair appears messy and gathered.
Step 4 : lightly take a comb and brush your hair back down. Although this will remove some of the volume you just created, it will leave enough behind to work with.
Step 5 : Tie your hair up in a high ponytail – and even curl the ends if you’d like! The pony doesn’t have to be perfect.
Step 6 : Now take that front portion and back comb one final time. Spray the hair from behind to give it extra hold and then make a poof with the section.
Step 7 : Take the hair that is not part of your poof but part of the section and still hanging down and wrap it around your ponytail to conceal the appearance of it.
Step 8 : To remove any fly aways or to smooth out the look even more, try spraying your hands with hairspray and polish the look, blending in any fly aways and smoothing out the sides.

The Faux Bob Hairstyle

How To Style :

Step 1 : This style works on a variety of textures, however, and can look great on straight, wavy, dirty or clean hair.
Step 2 - 3 and 4 : Impart your desired texture. To achieve a bouncier, looser feel, curl your hair with a 1 inch iron in fairly large sections.
Step 5 : Create desired base at scalp. A bit of backcombing sometimes makes the faux bob a bit more believable.
Step 6 : Gather the hair gently into the ponytail, you don’t need to really brush the hair back or smooth it at all, just secure it together.
Step 7 - 8 : Tuck and secure the ponytail. I rolled the ponytail underneath Sarah’s hair and pinned it to her scalp. The ponytail makes pinning that amount of hair much simpler. I used 3-4 bobby pins during this step.
Step 9 : Secure any loose bits.
Step 10 : Adjust the form. I used an old fashioned lift, which can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply for under $1. In the photo, I’m lifting up the backcombing and creating our desired bob-like full shape.
Step 11 - 12 : Add some Hairspray and admire.

Pink Striped Nails

How To Do :

Step 1 : Fill the bowl with cold water.
Step 2 : The bowl of water is to dry you're nails in. This makes the drying process go faster and you will be able to apply the second layer without having to worry about messing up the first layer. Feel if the water is cold enough, it should be as could as possible.
Step 3 : apply the first layer of nail polish. This will be the bottom stripe.
Step 4 : Rip small pieces of painters tape and apply them to you're nail like in image 4. Make sure that the bottom part of you're nail is completely covered.
Step 5 : Apply the second coat of nail polish on you're nails and directly take the painters tape of. Put you're hands in the bowl of water and let the paint get hard. Then apply the painters tape in the same way as before, only this time a little bit higher on the nail. Apply the third layer of nail polish and repeat the process.

Explosion Nail Art Design Tutorial

How To Do :

Step 1 : Start with the base color you like and let it dry completely.
Step 2 : while waiting for the base color to dry. cut some triangles out of tape to make the 'explosion' shape.
Step 3 : Now place the triangles one by one, next to each other on one corner of the nail, in a slight curve. This will create the 'explosion' shape.
Step 4 : Then apply your first layering color with a thin coat and carefully peel off the pieces of tape right away.
Step 5 : When the polish is entirely dry, you can start the taping process once again with your second layering color.
Step 6 : Apply your second layering polish and remove the tape strips as soon as possible. At last apply your topcoat, clean up and you're done!

Step 2 : Create a foundation by back-combing. back-comb not only the top, but also a bit beyond the round of her head for a stronger foundation and less Bump-It!-like volume.
Step 3 : Smooth one side of your hair back, then Pin with 3-4 bobby pins in a vertical column near the center back of your head. The back-combing from step 2 will provide a great cushion for the pins and make the hair easier to mold.

Step 1 : Apply two layers of the yellow.
Step 2 : Add the pink by gently brushing it onto your nails in a triangular shape. Be as precise as you can, but don't worry if the edges aren't as sharp as you'd like. Because the white lines will cover that up for you.

Step 1 : After applying the proper heat protection and breakage products isolate a horizontal row of hair at the nape of your neck about an inch thick.

Step 2 : Grabbed your 2nd color, black, and paint the non-taped section.

Step 4 : Use 2 pieces of tape, to tape you nail.
Step 5 : Paint the non-taped section. then pull the tape off.
Step 6 : When you're done all the nails, top them all off with SV and let it dry.

How To Style :

Step 1 : Divide hair into 4 sections, seperarting the front from the back, and add wave clips to the bottom half of the hair.
Step 2 : Spray the hair with Hair Resort.
Step 3 : Blow dry for 5 minutes of high heat, low blow. Then 1 minute on cold to set the waves.
Step 4 : Remove the clips, shake it out, add hairspray and backcombing for a little extra beach mess.

Beachy Bridal Waves Hair Tutorial

How To Style :

Step 1 : Wet your hair and add some sea salt spray.
Step 2 : Lightly diffuse hair.
Step 3 : Softly curl hair with a 1 1/2 inch curling iron (make sure curl is not too tight).
Step 4 : Loosen and separate the waves.
Step 5 : Twist the small strands and clip towards the back and set for about 30 minutes.

Step 1 : Start by seperating the hair into 2 sections.
Step 2 : Take a piece from the outside of one section and bring it overtop to the opposite section.
Step 3 : Continue to repeat step 2 all the way down alternating sides with each piece.
Step 4 : For a more natural look you can backcomb the ends really tight rather than using an elastic! It will hold just the same!

How To Style :

Step 1 : Tease the top of your hair a bit with a fine-tooth comb.
Step 2 : Start a braid, and add in pieces as you go {french braid the top portion of your hair}.
Step 3 : Pin the braid in place.

How To Style :

Step 1 : Starting underneath, Grab a small section of hair.
Step 2 : Twist the hair around your fingers ...
Step 3 : twist that section of hair all the way up to your head.
Step 4 : Grab your flat iron and heat the rolled hair. and hold it.
Step 5 : Release the flat iron to reveal the random chunky curl.

Step 1 : Prepare yourself by brushing your hair before you start. Then, take your hair and make a pony (don't tie it).
Step 2 : Start by twisting and warping you hair up.

Rainbow Eyeliner Tutorial

How To Do :

Step 1 : After applying a shadow primer, use a fluffy blending brush to define your crease with a light neutral brown shadow, which will give your lid dimension.

How To Style :

Step 1 : Start by using some texture spray for lift and body.
Step 2 : Set hair in pin curls.
Step 3 : Let the hair set for 30 mins, lightly spray the hair with soft hairspray.
Step 4 : Gather the bangs onto one side and twist outwards.
Step 5 : Secure the bangs with large bobby pins.
Step 6 : Split the hair into two sections and create loose fish tail braids.
Step 7 : Loosen each strand so the braid is not so tight, the look should be soft and loose.
Step 8 : Then tuck each of the braid upward and secure with pins.

Beautiful Green Eye Shadow Tutorial

How To Do :

Step 1 : First fill the lids with a nude base colour.
Step 2 : Then with green eyeliner or thin brush, drow a line over crease towards the corner of your eye and connect.
Step 3 : Fill the corner in with a darker green.
Step 4 : Sweep medium shade from the corner of the eye to the center and blend to create gradient effect.
Step 5 : Brush light blue onto the corner of the eye and blend into medium shade.
